They said, go see him before you start anything new.

I felt relieved.

He blessed me and seemed happy to hear what I said.
I told him I will call on him for guidance every day.
Leaning in, he told me to just call his name the first thing out of bed.
And also the last thing at night when I lay.

I felt trusted.

Before leaving I asked, how will you know when I call your name.
How will you know I want to speak with you?
Calmly he explained our souls are one and the same.
And I can call him my inner strength too.
